Tuition Schedule




Howardsville Christian School Financial Policies

1.    Parents re-enrolling their child(ren) must complete a registration form, tuition payment preference form and include their enrollment fee of $100 per child by May 2nd.  After May 2nd   the fee is $125 per child.  This fee reserves a space for your child(ren) and is only refunded if the application is not accepted by the school board.
2.    Parents enrolling for the first time must also include an admission application form in addition to the above items.
3.    HCS has contracted with FACTS Tuition Management to handle monthly tuition payments.  Parents will select the payment option that best meets their needs.
4.    No student may begin the school year unless all previous accounts have been paid in full.  Any exception to this policy will require action by the full school board.
5.    If a family falls behind by two payments, their child will not be allowed to attend class until arrangement for payments have been made with the school board.
6.    If your child is in attendance for any portion of the month (whether a new student or exiting for any reason) that full month’s tuition must be paid.
7.    Financial aid applications and information may be secured from the school office.   All families are urged to participate in the Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (TRIP) and Meijer Community Rewards Program.  These programs allow parents, friends and family to receive rebates from local businesses which are applied to their tuition account.
8.    The 10% discount for members of Howardsville Gospel Chapel will be processed through the church.  Please pick up your application for member discount after May 2nd  in the church office.
9.    The tuition scale is based on estimated budget figures which are calculated on projected enrollment and operating costs.  Any significant changes in those projections may necessitate an appropriate increase in the tuition scale.
10.    Parents with students in grades K4-K-5 and 7th -12th will be responsible for purchasing the students textbooks and workbooks. Textbooks may be purchased either new through the school or used through other families.  Families with students in grades 1-6 will pay a book rental fee.
11.    Placement testing, if necessary, is a one time $25.00 fee.
12.    Howardsville Christian School does not accept federal and/or state aid in any form for the payment of tuition and fees.
