The Lord has blessed HCS with an increased enrollment for the 2016-17 school year, and our new students and their families have been a welcome addition.
I would like to highlight some of the activities and accomplishments that have taken place during our first quarter:
In academics, our online grading system has been successfully implemented and launched. Parents are now able to access their student's grades and track their progress online.
We are very pleased with our ACT test results as they were higher than the state average for the 5th year in a row.
In athletics, 10th grade student Dylan Jergens won cross country regionals and finished 16th out of 246 runners at the MHSAA state meet. He was also named BCS Conference most valuable player. Dylan and 10th grader Colton Fair were both named to 1st team all conference in varsity soccer.
Our high school students have enjoyed some awesome chapels with local pastors, a team from Word of Life and Focus on the Family. our students have also participated in fall harvest parties, pep rallies, and field trips.
If you are considering a biblically based, quality education with smaller class sizes and caring teachers, please call and/or visit HCS!
